1. What does it mean ?
Measure the approximate standard deviation of statistical sample population
2. What does it tell?
It indicates how accurate the mean of any sample likely to be compared with population mean.
3. It's characteristic
The more data included in calculation of mean, SE tend to be smaller
4. Interpretation
Smaller SE exhibits higher representation of the sample to the population.

Standard error of the mean, or SEM, indicates the size of the likely discrepancy compared to that of the larger population
