1. Social science
- Present tense for describing general facts, methods, the findings , arguments and implications of the findings
- Past tense used for describing previous researches.
2. Humanities
- Use past tense to explain previous studies
- Present tense to explain the studies, significance and arguments.
3. Science
- Past tense to describe previous researches-methods they have followed /what they have found
- Present tense - Researches justification/introduction/research significance / methods/ implication
