1. What is Z score?

- A measure the distance between a datapoint and the mean using standard deviation(SD)
- It can positive and negative

2. Value Intrepretation

- Z score with +3 value indicates the datapoint falls three standard deviations above the mean
- Z score with -3 value indicates the datapoint falls three standard deviations below the mean

3. Equation

$Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}$

$X = datapoint$
$\mu = mean$
$\sigma = standard\:deviation$
